1. Thông tin chung về phần thi IELTS Speaking Part 1
Phần thi IELTS Speaking Part 1 sẽ kéo dài trong khoảng thời gian từ 5 – 6 phút. Trong khoảng thời gian này, thí sinh sẽ phải trả lời 12 câu hỏi liên tiếp trong 3 chủ đề khác nhau.

3. Chiến lược trả lời IELTS Speaking Part 1 ghi điểm cao
Để có thể đạt điểm tối đa phần thi IELTS Speaking Part 1, các bạn thí sinh cần phải có chiến lược trả lời cho các câu hỏi một cách chính xác, đơn giản và tự nhiên. Bạn có thể tham khảo và áp dụng cấu trúc trả lời dưới đây để đạt điểm cao.

5. Một số lưu ý khi làm phần thi IELTS Speaking Part 1
Để trong quá trình thi IELTS Speaking Part 1 thuận lợi hơn bạn cần phải nắm một số lưu ý sau đây:
5.1 Lỗi sai thường mắc phải
Những lỗi sai rất nhiều bạn thí sinh mắc phải trong phần thi Speaking Part 1 là:
- Phức tạp hóa câu trả lời: Đôi khi việc diễn giải vấn đề ra thêm 2 đến 3 ý sẽ giúp giám khảo chấm thi thấy được khả năng sử dụng từ, ý tưởng câu và ngữ pháp của mình. Tuy nhiên, nếu các bạn nói quá nhiều sẽ càng làm cho câu trả lời phức tạp hơn và bộc lộ ra nhiều điểm sai.
- Không triển khai câu trả lời vì giám khảo không yêu cầu: Mặc dù giám khảo không đề cập Why, How hay In what way nhưng các bạn vẫn phải triển khai câu trả lời của mình ra. Nếu bạn trả lời thẳng vào thông tin được yêu cầu trong câu hỏi thì điểm chỉ dừng lại ở mức độ Direct answer. Vì vậy giám khảo không có cơ sở để đánh giá về ngữ pháp, từ vựng và phát âm của bạn.
- Sử dụng quá nhiều câu đơn trong câu trả lời: Để giúp cho câu trả lời trở nên mạch lạc và lưu loát hơn các bạn cần phải sử dụng thêm các từ liên kết trong câu. Nếu chỉ sử dụng câu đơn thì câu trả lời của bạn sẽ thiếu tự nhiên và ảnh hưởng đến điểm Grammar Range and Accuracy.
5.2 Các mẹo giúp bạn đạt điểm cao
Các bạn có thể áp dụng một vài mẹo sau đây để giúp phần thi Speaking Part 1 đạt điểm tối đa:
- Sử dụng từ 2 loại thì tiếng Anh trở lên trong câu trả lời: Việc mở rộng và xâu chuỗi các sự việc theo các theo thời gian sẽ giúp các thí sinh sử dụng nhiều thì khác nhau trong câu. Ví dụ hiện tại – tương lai, hiện tại – hiện tại hoàn thành, v.v.
- Thể hiện sự tự tin và trả lời có cảm xúc: Để thể hiện được sự tự nhiên trong giao tiếp tiếng Anh các bạn nên đặt cảm xúc thật của mình dựa vào những gì được giám khảo hỏi. - Sử dụng cách diễn đạt giao tiếp đời thường: việc này giúp bạn tăng sự tự nhiên trong câu trả lời: Ví dụ như wanna, kinda, cool, for sure, v.v.
